Project Overview:
Robin Park is an Athletic and sports stadium situated opposite the DW stadium of Wigan Athletic. The job at hand was to repair and relamp the stadium and get it back to its former glory.
Work Carried out
Lower all 20m & 15m Columns, Inspect and rectify any wiring or component issues. Replaced all faulty Lamps, Ballasts, Ignitors, MCBs etc. Replacement of damaged floodlight heads Replacement of damaged underground cables. And rewire where needed, testing and commissioning.
Key Challenges
Rectifying what was a fairly poorly maintained floodlighting system that has seen little or no maintenance for a number of years. Working in hand with groundsmen trimming trees to allow columns to be lowered.
