Client: BAKO North Western, Lancashire
Project: Installation of LED high bay lighting & microwave PIR detection
Project value: £24,000
Project Overview:
BAKO North Western is a leading food service company with their headquarters based in Preston, Lancashire. As a valued long-standing client, we have delivered energy efficient industrial LED high bay lighting to the storage warehouse in their distribution centre. This will help BAKO North Western to achieve maximum energy savings and up to 75% cost reduction in electricity bills for the warehouse as well as dramatically improving their working environment.
Combining design with functionality, LED High bays provide excellent light quality, have a very low glare and offer visual comfort through even light distribution, making them the ideal light source for warehouses and factories, as well as for many other applications. We’ve enhanced this installation by adding microwave motion sensors to further conserving energy use within BAKO’s storage warehouse.
Key Challenges:
We managed the complete installation in 20 days around BAKO’s tight schedule, ensuring very little disruption. The entire project was efficiently managed with excellent levels of quality, reliability and safety throughout and delivered to BAKO’s brief on time and budget.
Added Value:
BAKO North Western are committed to continuous improvement to achieve the highest environmental performance wherever possible and this installation is guaranteed to reduce their energy consumption. Using at least 75% less energy and lasting over 25 times longer than the previous Metal Halide lighting the highly efficient LED high bays and microwave sensors ensure optimal operating costs, providing BAKO with an exceptional return on their investment. All work is installed efficiently, reliably and fully tested with NICEIC test certificates supplied.
